Aberfeldy Watermill The mill was built in 1825 and totally renovated in the early 1980s. Further major renovations have been made to open it in this present form. Much of the original machinery has been retained and the huge 5-metre diameter waterwheel can usually be seen in operation generating electricity to power our lighting..

Abernethy Round Tower  One of the two round towers of Irish style surviving in Scotland, dating from the end of the 11th century. Used as a lok-out. Pictish symbol stone built into the tower. Fine views from the top.

Dunkeld Cathedral Ruins.  Beautifully situated on the banks of the Tay. The choir is now the parish church, but the 15th-century nave and the tower are cared for by Historic Scotland on behalf of Scottish Ministers. Small shop and tours run by Friends of Dunkeld Cathedral... Holds tomb of Wolf of Badenoch.

Loch Leven Castle

 

Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned on this island for nearly a year before escaping in 1568. A short boat trip is needed to get to the island.
